School Uniform
Walderslade Primary school encourages all pupils to wear the correct school uniform. Many of the items (marked
with a *) are available to buy online from Marks and Spencer. School book bags and water bottles are also available.
Reception/ KS1 (clearly labelled) -

White polo t-shirt*

Grey trousers/ shorts
- Flat black shoes (not trainers)
- White, grey or black socks
- Red and white gingham dress
- Grey jumper/ cardigan with school logo*
KS2 (clearly labelled) -
- White shirt
- Red and white striped tie*
- Grey jumper/ cardigan with school logo*
- Grey trousers/ shorts
- White, grey or black socks
- Flat black shoes (not trainers)
- Grey skirt
- Grey tights
PE kit (clearly labelled)
House coloured t-shirt (pupils are allocated a house when joining the school)*
Black shorts
Trainers/ plimsolls
Black tracksuit or sports trousers during winter months
Fleece during winter months*
Jewellery
One small stud may be worn in pierced ears (these will need to be removed for PE)
A small wrist watch may be worn
No other jewellery is allowed
Hair & Make up
Hair styles must be reasonable and in sympathy with our school uniform. Extreme colours, spikes or shaved patterns is not considered suitable for school and should be reserved for holidays or weekends. Bows in the hair should not be large 'Jo-Jo' style bows.
Long hair should be tied back for health and safety reasons during PE.
Make up (including eye lash extensions) and nail varnish should not be worn by any pupils in the school.
All items of clothing and possessions should be clearly labelled/ marked. The school cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to pupils' personal property. A lost property box is kept in the main office for unnamed shoes and clothing.
