We know that Primary Education only takes 7 years, but lasts a lifetime. At Walderslade we ensure that our curriculum is exciting and builds on pupils’ interests and enthusiasm. We encourage children to be challenged in their thoughts and understanding, to develop a desire to learn more about the world around them and be ambitious in their Dreams and aspirations.
Through a range of academic, sporting, musical and artistic events and competitions, all pupils at Walderslade Primary are supported to Achieve their potential. We ensure that all children secure key Maths and English skills, enabling them to succeed.
All of our stakeholders work together to encourage and develop a school community where Respect for all is paramount. Through this partnership and shared ethos, we instil a sense of belonging where all are welcome. It is a community where democratic systems shape the day to day running of our school, and where the voice of our children is clearly heard. We teach children the rule of law and model positive behaviour in all we do. Walderslade Primary is committed to creating an environment where the safety of our children is a priority.
We celebrate all we do. We struggle and succeed together. Our values are woven through the ethos of our school and all that we do, ensuring that all of our children have the opportunity to Excel, no matter how small the achievement.
